Expressing Gratitude adalah sebuah ekspresi Bahasa Inggris yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan rasa terima kasih.

Dialog 1

Situation: a girl is talking with a friend on the phone.
Situasi: seorang gadis sedang berbicara dengan seorang teman di telepon.

Mark: Well Lia, thanks a lot for telling me the good news.
Mark: Baiklah Lia, terima kasih banyak sudah memberitahuku kabar baiknya.

Lia: Oh, that’s okay. I thought you’d been interested.
Lia: Oh, tidak apa-apa. Saya pikir Anda sudah tertarik.

Mark: I am. I wish both of you the best of luck in the future.
Mark: Saya. Saya berharap yang terbaik bagi Anda berdua di masa depan.

Lia: Thanks for that. Well, okay. I’d better hang up now.

Situation: A teacher is helping his student to understand the English materials
Situasi: Seorang guru membantu muridnya untuk memahami materi bahasa Inggris

Teacher: Have you understood the difference between a gerund and active participle?
Guru: Sudahkah Anda memahami perbedaan antara gerund dan partisip aktif?

Student: Yes, Sir. I understand now. That was very kind of you.
Siswa: Ya, Pak. Saya mengerti sekarang. Anda baik sekali.

Teacher: It was my pleasure. I am happy if you’ve understood. I hope you can pass the test.
Guru: Itu adalah kesenangan saya. Saya senang jika Anda mengerti. Saya harap Anda bisa lulus ujian.


Dialog 3

Situation: A woman is talking with her son’s high- school principal.
