Situasi: James tidak hadir kemarin. Gurunya, Ibu Linda bertanya untuk alasannya.

Mrs. Linda: James, come here.
Ibu Linda: James, kemari.

James: Yes, Mrs. Linda.
James: Ya, Ibu Linda.

Mrs. Linda: I would like to ask you something. You were absent yesterday. Where did you go, James?

James: I’m so sorry Mrs. Linda. My parents have been out of the town for a week. They have a family business there.

Mrs. Linda: Eeemm… Did you go to the doctor?
Ibu Linda: Eeemm … Apakah kamu pergi ke dokter?

James: No, I didn’t.

Mrs. Linda: Where did your brother?

James: My brother was in school yesterday.
James: Kakakku di sekolah kemarin.

Mrs. Linda: Well, James. You’re supposed to give the information to the school. Because that is the procedure. And you’re supposed to go the doctor to check your condition.

James: Yes, Mrs. Linda. Thanks. That was my fault. I’m so sorry, Mrs. Linda. I promise that I won’t do it again.
